Dr. Edward “Ted” Peck
Board Certified Clinical Neuropsyhologist
Dr. Peck received his MS and PhD degrees from Tufts University. He completed his clinical internship and postdoctoral research fellowship with appointments at Harvard Medical School Department of Psychiatry, Children’s Hospital and Peter Bent Brigham Hospital.
Dr. Peck is board certified in Clinical Neuropsychology by the American Academy of Professional Psychology-American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology. He is a former elected Board Member of the AACN and currently serves as the AACN Committee Co-Chair for selection of the Distinguished Neuropsychologist of the Year Award.
Dr. Peck has a lifespan private practice dedicated to helping people think and function better in school, at work, and throughout the different phases of life. He provides inpatient/outpatient differential diagnostic neuropsychological and neurobehavioral consultations for conditions such as Dementia vs Pseudo-Dementia, Memory Loss, ADHD, CVA, Traumatic Brain Injury, Sleep Disorders as well as numerous other medical conditions. He performs Executive Cognitive Assessments.
He is designated a neutral neuropsychologist for the National Football League in the assessment of their retirees.
He provides pre-surgical neuropsychological assessment services for kidney and heart transplant patients, as well as Bariatric Surgery and Spinal Cord Pain Management surgeries.
He provides Disability Determination and Forensic Consultation Services to Plaintiff and Defense.
He has been designated as the Richmond Magazine “Top Doc” in Clinical Psychology for 5 years in a row.
He has received two Gubernatorial Appointments to the Virginia Board of Psychology and has been the Vice Chair of the Board of Psychology and Chair of the Discipline Committee.
He is the Chair of the Professional Affairs and Ethics Committee for the Virginia Academy of Clinical Psychology.
Received the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology, Lifetime Achievement Award for Distinguished Service to the Field of Neuropsychology: In recognition for Advocacy, Leadership and Practice Innovations.
Member of the National Peer Review Committee – United Behavioral Health.
